MOBILE TRUCK WASH CERTIFICATION
HACCP is a methodology used by many organisations internationally for managing food safety by analysing and controlling biological, chemical and physical hazards that might occur in the food production process. A HACCP system puts into place stringent actions to take to prevent the hazards from occurring. It is regarded as the foundation system for organisations in the food industry to provide a safe food product. HACCP as a methodology is codified by the World Health Organisation (WHO).
There are seven principles of HACCP that need to be used and implemented by food manufacturers throughout the world. These principles include the following:

Thor Mobile Truck Wash is certified by HACCP International within the Food-safe Equipment, Materials and Services Certification Scheme.
Certification is offered to suppliers of equipment, materials and services that make a contribution to food safety and can be used by the food industry without risking the safety of food or the integrity of a food facility’s HACCP-based food safety management system.
The Food-safe Equipment, Materials and Services Scheme is not a food safety management system scheme, which is for food manufacturers. It is a product certification scheme, whereby the finished product (rather than a manufacturing process) is assessed for conformity to a standard.
HACCP International’s methodology is one whereby they simply, practically and scientifically assess the product(s) or service(s) that are submitted with regard to all facets of food safety and their contribution to food safety. The certification offers manufacturers, distributors and, importantly, their customers, a third party assessment and endorsement of material safety, accuracy and appropriateness in a food application, issued by an independent organisation of food safety experts.
HACCP International certifies the services of Thor Mobile Truck Wash as appropriate for food transport vehicles. Thor Mobile Truck Wash’s cleaning and sanitising procedures, documentation and training meet the requirements of businesses that distribute food in accordance with a HACCP based food safety program.
